About Us Since its inception in 1985, Personal Touch Catering has had the privilege to assist hundreds of couples with one of the most important days of their lives. We pride ourselves on helping make wedding day fantasies come true. The Virginia Tech campus is picturesque and historic and provides the ideal setting for a wedding reception and ceremony. We have created this website to include a variety of unique menus for weddings, dinner rehearsals, and bridal luncheons. Please keep in mind that these menus are merely suggestions. A customized menu can be created to your personal tastes. Our other services and amenities are included in this website to aid in the overall planning of the day and are not limited to those listed. The staff of Personal Touch Catering would be honored to be a part of the planning of your reception. Our sales staff will assist you with all the detailed preparations. Ice Carvings are a perfect centerpiece for your buffet presentation and an elegant touch to your wedding decor. Our most popular designs include a traditional carving of kissing doves on a heart or two wedding rings joined together. The possibilities are endless! Costs range from $150 to $450. A historic, non-denominational memorial chapel is available on the Virginia Tech campus within walking distance of Owens Banquet Room. Cake cutting fees are available at the cost of $1.00 per person. Specialty linens, including elegant chair covers and floral and lace print tablecloths, are also available and priced accordingly. Ask to see our collection of samples.
